Katherine “Kat” Delgado counsels her family law clients with knowledge and compassion throughout their cases, including during settlement negotiations, in court, and in other adversarial settings throughout litigation. Her goal with every client is to help them find the right path when starting a new chapter in their life.
Kat is a seasoned mediator and received her training from the Center for Conflict Resolution. While attending St. Thomas University for her Juris Doctor, Kat also completed a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy.
Earning her Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington in 2015 has allowed her to provide more advanced estate planning to her clients.
Kat clerked for a Family Law Judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s Administrative Office of the Courts, which afforded her invaluable behind-the-scenes experience and reaffirmed her interest in Family Law. Kat also clerked for a Probate Judge in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she discovered her passion for working with probate and guardianship issues.
